Myra - St. Nicholas - Arycanda Culture Tour

Our day, which smells of history, starts at 09:30 in the morning.
We arrive at Myra, one of the 6 important cities of the Lycian Civilization, our first stop, by making a nice journey.
After taking lots of photos, we visit St.Nicholas Church (Santa Claus), one of the most important saints of his period.
Using the coastal road, we head towards Arif Village, where the ancient city of Arycanda is located, while watching the unique coastal landscape of the Mediterranean.
Before visiting the ancient city, we have a nice lunch in Arif Village.
After visiting the ancient city of Arycanda, which was established on the slope of the hill, we start to move towards Kaş by using the village roads.
Before returning to Kaş, we finally have a short and nice tea break in one of Kaş's uniquely beautiful villages to relieve the tiredness of the day.
Towards the evening, we end our day with the memory of this beautiful day in our minds and the taste of the delicious meal on our palate.

Then we get on our back and go to Üçağız Village.
We get on our boat waiting for us in Üçağız Harbor and head towards Aquarium Bay where we will have lunch and swimming break.
After a barbecue and swimming break on the boat, we have another swimming break at Antik Tersane Bay, which is our other stop.
After swimming in touch with history in Tersane, it is now time to see the famous sunken city.
You can take pictures as you wish while our boat sails parallel to the island and slowly over the wrecks.
Leaving the Sunken City behind, there is Kale Köy or Simena, which is famous for its ancient name, which is a cute coastal village where transportation is provided only by sea.
After our boat docks to the shore, you now have an hour of free time to visit the village, visit the castle or shop.
Right after a short boat trip from Simena to Üçağız, we get into our vehicle and return to Kaş towards the end of the day.

Our journey towards the mystery of history begins with our meeting in the office at 09:30 in the morning.
First, we arrive at the ancient city of Arna or Xanthos as it is known as the capital of the Lycian Union, the world's first federative republic.
After a brief briefing by your guide, you can immerse yourself in the city's magic to visit the city and take lots of photos.
Leaving the capital behind us, we are on our way to Tlos, one of the six important Lycian cities.
But before visiting the city, we have a nice lunch in Yakapark National Park with the sounds of water.
After discovering Tlos, the sports center of the Union and the longest lifetime of Lycian cities, Letoon, which was built for the Mother Goddess Leto, now the heart and religious center of Lycia, is waiting for us.
Leaving Letoon and its magnificent temples behind, we visit Patara, the second capital of Lycia, the birthplace of the sun god Apollo and Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus).
As we return to Kaş towards the evening, we are completing our day with the happiness of an explorer wandering in the mysteries and the sweet tiredness of traveling from the past to the present.

"We had a great day out on a boat exploring Kekova (which we'd booked with Xanthos Travel in Kas). We were picked up from our villa and driven down to the port at Kekova to board the boat. We had a fantastic guide - Baran - who explained how the day would pan out and throughout the day gave us a wonderful insight into the sunken city and history of the area. The boat was very comfortable and all of the crew were helpful. We were treated to a delicious lunch and snacks throughout the day, and loved the moment when the goats reaped the benefits of the leftovers! I would definitely recommend booking with these guys. "My friend and I decided to join Xanthos for a jeep tour so we could visit some amazing places that otherwise we couldn't see. We were on the jeep with other 10 people and all the security rules have always been respected from the participants and the staff. A person has always come with the group and has been super helpful and at the same time cheerful. This is a great choice made by the company! An example: in the canyon a member of the group slipped and felt down. The Xanthos's guy immediately helped and checked her. Likely she didn't have any serious issues, so he cheered up again the spirit. With them we also did rafting on a river (not dangerous but a fun experience) and visited some places that in the right time (less crowded) are beautiful and enjoyable! He was also fluent in English and extremely informed about the local area and shared his knowledge with us all.
